2020 Organic Standards Published
As of December 11, 2020 the revised 2020 Canadian Organic Standards (COS) have been published by the Canadian General Standards Board. From their date of publication, all operators have one year to comply with the revised clauses of the 2020 COS.

To make it easier for operators, the Organic Federation of Canada (OFC), which oversees the review process, has prepared documents presenting the 2015 and 2020 standards side-by-side with the 2020 modifications highlighted. You can find the comparison here.
Canadian Organic Growers (COG) produces a guide to help producers better understand the COS and have updated it to reflect the changed 2020 clauses too. You can find it here.
