2023 Ontario Organic Day & OCO AGM at Queen’s Park
We are excited to announce that this year’s Ontario Organic Day & Organic Council of Ontario Annual General Meeting will be held on March 29th in Toronto!
This year’s event will start with OCO’s AGM in the morning, followed by Organic Day at Queen’s Park in the afternoon and a delicious organic reception in the evening. Click the button below to register!
Organic Day at Queen’s Park
Organic Day at Queen’s Park allows OCO’s members, staff, and board to foster a healthy rapport with MPPs and the government to encourage legislative action and policy development on issues that impact Ontario’s organic industry.
As a result of connections made at Ontario Organic Day in years past, the Organic Products Act was introduced as a private member’s bill in 2017 by MPPs Peter Tabuns (NDP) and Sylvia Jones (PC), and then re-introduced by MPP Jim McDonell (PC) in 2018. We are excited to use this year’s event to continue our advocacy for organic regulation in Ontario and for continued support to grow the organic sector.
