Office Co-ordinator, Ecological Farmers of Ontario (Guelph)

efaoEFAO is seeking a highly organized systematic-thinker to manage the office and day to day administrative systems that support the staff team and the organization as a whole. They are also responsible for member communication and managing membership renewals and helping to implement EFAO’s policies and procedures. They will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the entire staff team and Board Treasurer.

Government and Regulatory Affairs Manager, Canada Organic Trade Association (Ottawa)

This position will manage all strategic government relations, organic cota-logoand trade regulatory issues and execution, member engagement on these areas and strategic outreach work to ensure effectiveness within the broader organic community.   The Manager position will lead all Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs work, in conjunction with the Executive Director, including government engagement through a concrete framework (Organic Caucus and regular on-site meetings with Ministers and MPs), stakeholder communications, media relations, and employee engagement. This position will work closely with the Executive Director on messaging, engagement and oversee all lobby efforts.

On-Farm Event Co-ordinators (volunteer), Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario (Eastern & Southwestern Ontario)

In this position, you would attend and facilitate farm tours and on-farm on-farm event coordinatorsworkshops covering a variety of topics, from
irrigation to cut flower production on behalf of EFAO. The On-Farm Event Coordinator is a volunteer position starting in April and lasting until November 2017. The position involves approximately 40 hours of work total, depending on schedule and availability. Events may be on weekends or weekdays (typically, though not exclusively, Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday) and can be up to 6 or 8 hours, including travel time. Volunteers are reimbursed for travel expenses.
