Guelph Organic Conference

The Guelph Organic Conference is Canada’s largest organic gathering and a great place to learn more about organic. There are great workshops and trade show booths if you are new to organic or been working with organics for years.

For full schedule please visit: http://www.guelphorganicconf.ca

  • Friday – 4 major 3-hour seminars followed by the Organic Food Dinner & Keynote Forum
  • Individual fees apply for each of the several seminar programs
  • Limited student discounts

Saturday fees & programs – January 31, 2015 (free Expo runs in the Guelph U.C. = no need to register):

  • 5 streams (themes) of workshops = 20 workshops running all day at the same time as the Expo (9.30, 11.00, 1.30, 3.30)
  • Your pre-registered badge or on-site wristband gets you into all of the workshops.
  • Generous student discounts with no pre-registration required: advance price same as at-the-door price
  • If you come just for the EXPO but later decide to attend the workshops, inquire in the Registration Room UC103 [ditto Sunday]

Sunday fees & programs – February 1, 2015 (free Expo runs in the Guelph U.C. = no need to register):

  • 15 workshops –  (9.30, 11.30, 1.30) running all day – wide variety of interesting topics.
  • Includes a 3-part BioDynamic educational program stream [note: the 3rd of these had a speaker change after brochure printed]
  • Your pre-registered badge or on-site wristband gets you into all of the workshops.
  • Generous student discounts with no pre-registration required: advance price same as at-the-door price

All workshops carry a paid admission charge. To register for a workshop you have three (3) options:

  • Register on-line (opens every November 1) – using PayPal + your credit card [full program will be visible on the PayPal form]
  • Register with a cheque using the established very detailed (printed) registration form, by mailing it in by postmark January 14/15 – that form is on the front of this Web Site as a download as soon as published (each November) – a lot of people want to mail in a cheque with their form [you can list/register/pay, for up to 4 guest names per registration form]
  • For each of the Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday workshops, you can register at the door, paying the applicable fee (every workshop is open – “is space available – YES” because we have found adequately sized rooms for everything).  Even the January 30th, 4.15 pm Organic Dinner has lots of tickets currently available (December 4) but may sell out very close to the actual date – this will be announced.
  • Finally, regrettably, there are no guest refunds after December 31, 2014 – do not pre-register if your schedule is uncertain.  Just register at the door.
  • Final note: a lot of people ask for one single entry fee for the whole Conference.  We would rather just give you the option to register for the parts of the 4-day event that you want to attend.
