Join us for the Fall Field Day Series!

The Organic Council of Ontario (OCO) and the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario (EFAO) have partnered to deliver a Fall Field Day Series with the support of the Canadian Organic Growers (COG).

This exciting series of four virtual field days includes Ontario farms that employ regenerative agriculture practices and principles. Farmers will discuss their differing approaches, techniques and the benefits they reap from working with natural ecological cycles to pursue regeneration and resilience within their farm ecosystems.

Participants will have a chance to see successful examples of regenerative practices demonstrated in a pre-recorded tour and then join a live discussion and Q+A session.

Content and topics that will be covered in the series include:

  • Increasing soil carbon capture
  • Building ecological diversity and native plants
  • Rotational and strip grazing and pasture health
  • Silvopasture and forest products
  • Crop rotations and cover crops
  • No till production
  • Measuring regeneration through ecological indicators
  • Economic resilency & social fairness through collaborative sales methods
  • Sustainable conservation and distribution of water

The full series cost is $15 for OCO and EFAO Members (using code OCO2020) and $20 for non-members.
